SHARED FREQUENCIES

A Full-Day Team Listening and Sonic Storytelling Experience

FOUNDATIONS

Why Listening Is a Team Skill

Most organizations invest in communication. They train people to present, negotiate, and give feedback. Very few train people to listen, and almost none treat listening as something a team practices together.

Listening is a skill. Like any skill, it gets stronger with practice. And when a team practices it together outside of the usual context, out in the world, doing something genuinely creative and challenging, the impact reaches further than any workshop exercise.

IMPACT

What Teams Gain

A shared language for talking about attention, listening, and the sonic environment

Hands-on experience with professional field recording equipment and technique

A deeper understanding of how soundscapes shape mood, focus, and well-being

At least two personal listening practices they can use in their daily work

THE EXPERIENCE

What a Day Looks Like

Shared Frequencies runs four sessions across the day, each drawing from both the Sound Ambassador and Field Recording programs, woven into a single arc that moves from awareness to craft to creative collaboration. An optional Nature Immersion add-on session is available and described at the end of this section.
